April 12th: Halifax Day
A celebration to commemorate the Historic Halifax Resolves signed here on April 12, 1776, predating the Declaration of Independence by 3 months.
July 4th: Fireworks in Halifax
Music, entertainment, kiddie games, lots of good food, military/patriotic salute, Delegation Scene from First for Freedomon.
Historic Site opens at 10:00 am, music begins in Courthouse Complex at 5:30 pm and fireworks begin at dark.
Second Saturday in December: Christmas in Halifax
Events all over town, Historic site houses decorated as they would in Christmas of 1776 and a parade at 2:00 pm.
